Join us at CPHS'24 for Professional Development Activity, (to be held on Dec. 12 at noon-1pm) where faculty, search committees, and recruiters can connect with talented students and postdoctoral researchers seeking academic and industrial positions through a poster session. Check out the Professional Development Poster Session for details on how to apply!
The second CPHS book "Cyber-Physical-Human Systems: Fundamentals and Applications" is upcoming! Authors of a set of selected papers from the CPHS'24 will be invited to submit their contributions to this book.
Authors of a set of selected papers from the CPHS'24 workshop will be invited to submit their contributions for a special section on CPHS in the journal Annual Reviews in Control.(https://www.sciencedirect.com/journal/annual-reviews-in-control).

The 5th IFAC Workshop on Cyber-Physical and Human Systems (CPHS 2024) will bring together researchers and practitioners to share scientific and technological advances, and to gain a deeper understanding of cyber-physical human systems. The workshop will focus on modeling, design, analysis, control, verification, and certification of CPHS, including theoretical, algorithmic, computational, and experimental aspects, with emphasis on:
Modeling, analysis, and control of integrated CPHS
Social and societal aspects of CPHS
Security, privacy and ethics in CPHS
Human behavior and teaming of humans and autonomy
Safety-critical and resilient CPHS
CPHS applications including but not limited to healthcare, transportation, human-space technology, and smart infrastructure
Fundamental advances in cyber-physical human systems will require an interdisciplinary approach, capitalizing on expertise in control theory, human-machine interaction, formal methods, autonomous systems, human factors, cognitive psychology, economics, and other related areas.
Submissions: All submissions must be in English. Only original papers that are not submitted or published in other conferences or journals will be considered. Submissions are invited for:
Regular papers (4-6 pages) on relevant CPHS topics
Extended (2-page) abstracts (NOT published on IFAC PapersOnLine)
Invited sessions, consisting of up to six regular papers, around a common theme of interest to the CPHS community
